More Fit for the Kingdom

One of the professors in BYU's Film Department has started a very cool little documentary film project called Fit for the Kingdom. It is pretty self-explanatory when you visit their site. I've been working on a few ideas in my misshapen little skull that might be worthy of submission. I'd be happy to collaborate with any who might have a story or experience that matches the criteria. Here's the most recent movie to give you a flavor...

Does this one remind you of the "joys" of parenting?

  1. Oh that was so sad. I remember when we tried to save a wild bird from the jaws of Precious as she hissed under the outdoor freezer and we poked at her with the broom. She gave up and to my great heartbreak the bird was alive but did not survive even after depriving Precious of her well-earned catch. Tough lessons on forgiveness (even to your beloved cat).

  4. I asked my excercise class if they had to be blind or deaf which would they choose? No immediate response came. I was trying to see if they would rather have me do the combination with them or just cue it and watch them. One sister finally said "Do both" I always thought I would rather see than hear if I had to choose but today i have no idea whatsoever what that video clip is about beacasue I cant get my speakers to work. I'm guessing a small pet was burried. Ging and Ter will remember when we burried our ol'chicken out back 2052 Grandview. We were all doing fine util our calm father who always knew the right words to say even if they were few ended the ulogy by saying " good bye ol' girl" then the Anderson sisters began to cry.

  6. That was so beautiful. I felt like a child again- never could let go of pets gracefully. I think that is why it is such a good idea to let your children raise pets- it teaches them things that we as parents can't teach with words. I'm going to go blow my nose now.....
